You have two ways:

First, take subway line 2 from Pudong Airport to Hongqiao Railway Station and then take high speed trains to Haining.

Second, take airport shuttle bus line 7 to SHanghai South Railway Station. There you can take ordinary trains to Haining.

High speed trains are faster and can save you some time. But there are more ordinary trains at Shanghai South Railway Station.

Hi,

I am traveling to Zhengzhou within few weeks. I will be reaching Shanghai Pudong Airport at 14:30 Hrs. There is a train from Shanghai Hongqiao to Zhengzhou at 16:10 Hrs.

I have about 90 minutes to come out from the plane, wait for the luggage, customs clearance and to reach Shanghai Hongqiao train Station on-time to catch the D-Train.

Can you please suggest if I will be able to reach on-time and catch the D-Train within these 90 minutes? If yes, how?

You want to pick up your friend at Pudong Airport. You can see the shuttle bus when you get out of the Shanghai South Railway Station. It costs CNY 20 and takes about 2 hours from the south railway station to Pudong Airport. It is available from 06:30 to 21:30.
