I bake biscuits, cheesecakes, apple pies, birthday cakes, pasta, lasagna and other simple dishes with meat and baked potatoes, omlettes and bacon and eggs on the weekends. I often make fresh salads for lunch and fruit salad for breakfast.

When I am feeling very lazy I just eat toast.

Many of my Chinese friends enjoy the baked goodies as it is such a novelty to bake at home and eat fresh home cooked cakes and things. I am getting more adventurous now that more things are available for baking.

And I still get to eat Chinese food several times each week with friends and colleagues.

Hi Jabarootoo and Liz, it was a baked version of spaghetti bolognaise... I love baking too (quiches, pies, pasta, and some cakes and cookies). I also make Chinese dishes. A while ago i went to a cooking class and learnt to cook some asian dishes like Thai, Malay/Singapore, Vietnamese dishes, its fun but not too delicious haha

Cooking is one of the most enjoyable things for me. I like cooking at home, although the dish is not very delicious, my families like it. While another reason for me about cooking is that it can relax myself from the work.
