More and more young Chinese girls look for foreign men to date. What do you think? What's in the mind of foreign women about Chinese men?

I have asked that of a number of friends and have never gotten a response.

I caht with a young lady in Guangzhou who is seriously seeking, but I don't get a clear answer. It seems to be some disillusionment with Chinese men, some westerners are considered more gentlemanly, and perhaps partly the mystique. I have also heard some say they get more freedom.

Why don't Chinese men look for foreign women? (not that I am suggesting they should!)

It's quite romantic and I'm sure the cross-clultural marriage can bring a lot to both. But the basic is that the language is no longer the problem.

Depends of the concrete women - some like, some do not like, some don't care.

Why it have to be good or bad? It is potentially good or potentially bad, the same as marriage between Chinese.

Umm... whatever. Such "mixed" couples find a common language. For some couples I know it's English. For myself and my wife, we usually use Chinese. Language really is not a problem.
