Have you ever read the book Iron and Silk or the namesake movie acted by the author Mark Salzman himself? I believe it is a fairly interesting book in which the author narrated his two years unbelievable experience in Changsha, Hunan Province of China. As an American English teacher in college, Salzman stayed in China from 1982 to 1984. His enthusiasm about Chinese martial arts and Chinese calligraphy made he learn much from many teachers of martial art and calligraphy Are you interested in Chinese martial arts or other respects of Chinese culture? Can you share your learning experience with us?

I admire the Chinese Martial Arts, the history as well. So I'm always keen on stories about Romance of Three Kindoms and the Chinese Revolutions. I can get perseverance, braveness and some other wisdoms from them somewhat.

haha, my interest towards Chinese martial arts is only restricted to Kung Fu Movies. I like Jacky Chen's movie very much. His movie contains much humor through the process of fighting, and I often get amused.

Jet Li's movie Fearless is a good action movie based on a true story.

I watched a performance on how Kungfu movies are shot. It's not as thrilling as I had imagined. A little disappointing!
