Dongba Valley, a valley boasts natural beauty and distinctive ethnical features, is a must-see.

Six nationalities, Naxi, Primi, Tibetan, Qiang, Lisu and Taliu are residenting there. Taliu people is considered to be a branch of Yi people. But there are still mysterious on them. Taliu people believe that their ancestors are Han Chinese, but not Yi. The language they speak is neither Yi nor Chinese. Taliu means people from far away in their language.
