Chopsticks are widely used in China as a kind of tableware. They usually are made of wood or bamboo. Do you like them?

Yes. But I am left handed so that I use my left hand to hold it. Is there anyone who also is left handed?

Yes BBQQ

I thought that being able to eat peanuts was the measure of mastering the fickle sticks but there are still a few slippery items that challenge the best of us.

I get comments about how well I use my chopsticks which is great but if I hadn't mastered it by now I would go hungry too often.
In fact I did use them back home occasionally but not often enough or well enough.

my hubby can't make the 'challenge' to have noodles in soup, especially those slippy, transparent rice ones, with chopsticks in restaurants...

If you can't use chopsticks correctly exactly as shown in that picture evening posted here, but you can pick up a peanut, it's ok. My husband can't use chopsticks like in that picture either, and he's a Chinese, was born and grew up in China, and has been using chopsticks everyday for over 30 yrs! The other day I found that my brother and one of my cousins can't either. lol I'm glad I can though. We all are Chinese.

I know how you use the chopsticks. I can imagine that, cus my husband, my brother and my cousin do the same way everyday, and I did the same way before 12 yo. lol
