Hi

If you ever get around writing up your experiences, please do share it, as I am going to China as well, and will need to rely on internet.

If you get to know a little more about GPRS Wireless Internet coverage, please also remind me of your findings, as I will be on a train for most of the trip, and need to connect from there as well.

I do not know if China offers GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) Internet service. Last summer I saw young people "texting" like mad, but I did not notice anyone surfing the web from their mobile telephone.

Yes, many people surf the web with mobile phone. But it is really expensive.
