After the May Day Holiday, a survey was done by people.com to see whether tourists were satisfied with goods sold in tourist districts. The survey was made through the website, involving 7002 netizens. The result shows that only 5.8% are satisfied, 68.6% are dissatisfied, and the rest say that they have no interest in purchasing goods at all. Some tourists say that goods sold in different attractions are so alike that they do not tend to buy.

whilst there are mediocre souvenirs we see the same in every tourist spot, i came across good quality ones representative of the places, eg. terracotta army, longevity cranes, traditional bells replicas in Xi'an, miniature sheepskin raft in Ningxia, tie dyed fabric products, embroideries by ethnic people in Yunnnan and many others...

In my opinion, it is the one who buy the souvenirs should be responsible for it. You can choose to buy it or not, no one forced you, right? So don't be regret after your hotheaded shopping. Be calm and cool down. Relax.
