On May 12th, China Luareus Sports Awards Ceremony was held in Changsha. Chinese hurdler, Liu Xiang won two awards, the best sportsman of the Year and theo most popular sportsman of the Year. Cheng Fei, a Chinese gymnast won the best sportswoman of the Year. Shen Xue and Zhao Hongbo, figure skaters, won the best partners of the Year. Guo Yue, a PingPong player won the the best new Sportswoman of the Year. Zhang Lei, a disabled fence player won the best disabled sportswoman of the Year. Chess player Xu Yuhua won the best sportsman of Non Olympic Games. Chinese Badminton Team won the best sports group of the Year. Sun Haiping, the coach of Liu Xiang won the best coach of theYear.
