GUEST24572 I have had a lot of people ask where is Le Bistro 100 and where is Cafe Roma. The address for the French Western Restaurant is 100 RongMenRoad. In chinese that is 榕门路100号. My Italian Restaurant here in NanChang is called Cafe Roma. The address is 129 Fu He North Road. In Chinese that is 抚河北路129号.

Please feel free to come by and try some western culture. We are always available for questions about western food and its preparation.

Please feel free to ask if you have any questions.

Cheers.

GUEST36130 the so called western food here is nothing like the food back home (london). its as alien to me as the chinese food. nobody eats steak, fried egg, and spaggetti all on the same plate.
Mcdonalds is totally different, even including a pork burger on its menu. the bigmac aint like no bigmac i've ever tasted. (luckily for me i prefer the chinese bigmac to london ones)
you cannot get propper english chips here only ghastly american "fries", and pie? just forget it.
however interestingly enough the chinese food i've eaten in london is exactly the same as served here. there is no discernable difference to my pallet.

GUESTSUPER G... Well i am Mexican and there was one time were i traveled with my dad to Beijing (he was on an agricultural related business trip) we stayed for about a week and during that week i told him that Chinese food was not as good as the one we had back home (Mexicali city founded by Chinese). So we decided to try Mexican food in china. We went to a Mexican restaurant that just made me feel like i was home again, the food had been added different spices but over all it was great. i now live on the U.S. and restaurants that belong to real Mexicans cant come even close to the food i had in Beijing.

There will always be changes to the food in almost every nation to accommodate to its people. For example the city that i lived as a child in Mexico, Mexicali city as i said it was founded by Chinese a long time ago, their food is not the same as in China or any other nation. But we Mexicans love it, the best Chinese food in the nation can only found is this city.

GUESTHUNGRY ... Here in Chengdu, there are two fairly authentic western restaurants, the first being The Lazy Pug and the second being Peter's Tex Mex. Both have quality western food on a limited basis.
