At the age of 106, would you still want to find a spouse?

Gong Duruo, a 106 years old man, is a respectable Doctor of Medicine in Chengdu. His idea of finding a wife of about 50 years old was strongly opposed by his family. Despite all the gossips, he finally married a woman from Xi'an.

Chinese always think old man do not need to find a spouse, and the one who dare to do such a thing will be laughed at or misunderstood. The situation is quite different in western countries, isn't it?

Then how do you think Gong's behavior????????

If I was 106 and had enough in common with a lady, I would marry again.
I went to the North-East of Thailand last year, and found life there, similar to when I was a teenager growing up in Australia in the 1960's. I'm 55 and found many 32 year old women on the same wave-length. I felt like a man from 40 years in the future, visiting. I could tell them some of the things they will experience in the future.
If I was 106, I would probably have to go to a country that is about 70 years behind, to find someone interesting and on the same wavelength. Maybe North Korea, or New Zealand. (only joking).

Evening, I think that kind of marriage is not very rare right now in China. Recently I have heard that a senior women in Northeastern China of about 70 years more or less married to a man of 40 years more or less. The women had made plastic surgery to keep more younger for the marriage. They married just because they have the same hobbies and dreams about life. Though having a older physical appearancfe, the women keeps quite a younger mind. So they gain the blessings from many people.
So I think the age is not a problem, while one's psychology does.

Maybe it is better than in some parts of the USA where men of 70 marry girls as young as 12!
