GUESTRANDY R... I live in Houston Texas.I want to marry a chinese lady living in China. Our plans are for her to come here to Houston. She would come with visitors visa. I understand the visa will be good for 30 days. We will get married and file for permanent resident for her and eventually she will become a citizen if needed. When she comes here we do not want her to have to go back to China. What do we need to do to accomplish this? She wants to live here in USA. We have never met but we have emailed each other for the last 17 months. We have sent photos with the emails. We might be meeting in Thailand.

I checked Sinaporean Embassy and Consulates in Shanghai. It just shows they offer notarization service but doesn't say how long it takes. I suggest you write them an email or make a call to get the details.

GUEST97863 hi
i am planning on marring a Chinese girl. she lives on a little island called Saipan in Micronesia Islands. she is there now on a working visa but can not come to the states. me i am recently out of the navy and havent found work yet. i need to know what be the best way for me to get my girl here. she convinced me that in her case it would be easier to marry her in Saipan and i sponsor her as my wife. i hear that the sponsor must have some financial status and domocile before any of this can happen. so i wanted to know giving our situation does anyone have any good advice as far as what i should do and what she should do to make it work for us.

GUEST25157 Hi ... I am Burt in California. My fiance' and I just spent an idyllic month together (she has a B2 visa) and are planning to marry and live here as soon as we can get the visa issues settled.

She is 31 and I am considerably older ... not a problem for either of us, but I'm worried about how the visa people will think. Also we want to marry in the US to avoid scrutiny by her large family in ZhengZhou. Unknown at the moment, but she may be pregnant by the time we start moving paperwork around.

We've known each other since late October 2010 ... we have pictures together ... she is wearing the ring and bracelet I gave her.

She is university educated and wants to work here as my partner in my business. Her English is good, but, of course, it needs improvement.

After we start filing papers for a fiance' visa, will she need to give up her B2 visa and how quickly will the fiance' visa be issued?
