Ok, sounds like you want soft sleeper lower bunk? Guangzhou -- Haikou: K511 (0655--1827) 11h32min T201/T204 (1511--0146) 10h35min K407 (2125--0854) 11h29min Haikou -- Guangzhou: K408 (0359--1456) 10h57min K512 (2042--0849) 12h07min T202 (2253--0932) 10h39min Soft sleeper lower bunk costs 298 RMB each, one-way. T trains are usually better than K trains, but I wouldn't advise taking the T train for Guangzhou -- Haikou as it arrives in the middle of the night. K407 would be a better choice. Taking T202 for Haikou -- Guangzhou shouldn't be a problem. There's no official online ticketing for Chinese trains. Online agencies usually charge a big commission for it, which I don't think is worthwhile.

The train in question does terminate at Sanya (not Sanjay), and it does stop at Haikou enroute. Yes, it's safe to travel on the overnight sleepers with your luggage. I highly doubt that you would be able to buy sleeper tickets on the date of departure, especially since you want lower bunks! I've also replied you at your email address.

There's no direct train for Jinan -- Haikou. The best method would be to change trains at Guangzhou. Jinan -- Guangzhou: T179 (1930--1635) 21h05min Guangzhou -- Haikou: K407 (2125--0854) 11h29min Price would depend on your choice of seat, sleeper and bunk. Do you want hard seat, hard sleeper or soft sleeper? For sleepers, what bunk (upper/middle/lower) do you want?

Yes, it's daily.
