Dong Men Night Market - Shenzhen

It is likely that we will be staying a couple days in Shenzhen next month. My wife has heard that Dong Men is one of the best shopping areas in the city. Is this true? If so, what 4-5 star hotel would be closest to Dong Men.

Also, from this area, or Shenzhen in general, what is the best connection to Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA). Is it ferry or motor coach? Thank in advance.

hey i lived in shenzhen for a long time, dongmen is a good place for shopping, cheap goods --- just cheap, not so interesting.
and if you live in a 5 star hotel i don't think you will like it.
it's just my opinion, you can have a try yourself.
maybe you will find things different. good luck

You may try this road side market.

GUESTCJ shenzen is good for shopping but be careful what you buy as it is surely low quality and ready to break or not work!
