Recently a heat discussion in many Chinese BBS aroused many attention. The thread said that the author in Japan found that there's an advertisement of a Korean food factory, SAHMYOOKFOODS, which explains the advantages of Soybean Milk. The ad said that for hundreds of years, Korean family has made soybean milk as a daily food. Korea is the origin land of soybean milk. Actually, the soybean milk was firstly created by a king of China's Western Han Dynasty, Liu An, 1900 years ago. The advantages of soybean milk has been recorded in many ancient history records. An invention of Korean people?? Hundreds of years ago??

There are also other things take away by others. For example, the design of the Korean national flag is the Eight Diagrams. Sadly, when some foreigners seeing the Eight Diagrams in China, they asked "Why are you using Korean's national flag?" Actually, East Asia had been greatly fluenced by Chinese culture. Such as the costume of Japanese and Korean, the food, the literature, the family system, etc. etc. However, who knows that kimono is a mimic of Chinese Han Costume? How to protect you, my own culture?

Maybe we should apply 'patent' for our brilliant culture. Korea has made Dragon Boat Festival become the world heritage. It is a good example.

Is origination of ancient technology important now? We have a saying, "great minds run in the same channels." Perhaps it was discovered in multiple places at the same time??? If the soybean milk is safe and healthful, who cares who invented it so long after the invention??? And if this is important...why do you think it is important???

I'm afraid BBQQ means that Chinese culture is in danger. Not only the soybean milk, but also traditions, cultural heritages, etc. No, the origination of ancient technology isn't important. Somebody trying to steal it is most important! Even, there are Korean history book saying that most part of China, even the whole Asian, was once the possession of ancient Korean kingdom. Thus, Confucius was not a Chinese, but a Korean. LOL
