If the United Nations could have offspring, this would be its child. Tiger would be objective, and sensitive to every nation's humor. Better yet, Tiger Wood's daughter. | GUESTCHESNECK | I personally think it's Czech. I am Ukrainian and understand Russian, Ukrainian, Czech, English and French. And from my 4 years, when I moved here into Czech republic, there was not a day I didn't laugh, at school, in the city, even at home looking at czech sites and videos. Czechs live for humor and beer. |

| GUEST11584 | I am british lived in france, spain, argentina and canada. I speak Spanish and French. In my experience each country thinks the same that they are funny, they are this that etc. and other countries are this great unkown and pigeon hole nationalities to fill the gap. At the end of the day I have met many funny people from all over the world. I don't believe too much in this supposed cultural difference in humours. Some things do not translate simply because of wording. I can find something hilarious in Spanish translate it to English to explain to someone and it rarely works. Americans are often criticised by the British for taking themselves too seriously which can be seen as lacking humour, but I've learnt that as anywhere we are all essentially the same "humans" funny and unfunny people but luckily most do have some sense of fun and humour. The British are very small minded helped by our insular TV News and lack of knowledge of foreign languages. We have this general assumption of superiority in our justice system, morals (as do the US), ethics... that we are the only nationality with a sense of humour and other assumptions, but I have found all are FAR from the truth. A bit late and long but there you go! |

The Irish are amazing! they have such a sick sense of humour:) and they take the piss out of everything! |
