KFC in China has been kept the same price for more than 10 years. Recently, prices of most kinds of food rise by 0.5 RMB to 1RMB. Although just a little markup, many customers complain, especially students. Some claim they will reduce the chances to go to KFC. Good or bad news?

Neither good or bad just a case of reality. If they havent increased prices for 10 years then they have done well. staff need their money to increase every year so at some point the customer has to pay for it.

If the people feel that the prices are high, then they should reduce or stop their patronage. No point complaining but continue to patronise these outlets. You usually have a choice - take it or leave it.

Unhealthy fastfood does not worth your money. Eating fried food too often is harmful too your health. Is it safe for me to say that KFC is junk food? Haha

If the people feel that the prices are high, then they should reduce or stop their patronage. That is a good idea,Gryokan. Fortunately, I seldom go there because they are junk food. Sometimes, you can have a taste. But it is not good to have it as your staple food. Meanwhile, they contain much calories. Eating too much can make you become fat.

I don't think they raise their prices that often, I have been going to KFC for about 30 years on and off. I admit it's not the best food for you but if you only go once a month or so that's fine.

With the price rise of many other things rencently, KFC's price rise seems no wonder...... It's just an economic rule, but why things are more and more expensive?
