| GUEST29175 | I have just booked 2 return tickets to go to Xi'an from Shanghai from 24~29 December on the internet for $338 USD which is reasonable. Also becasue it is winter season you can get 5 star hotels fairly cheap $45 USD per night. So bargins are out there to have a fairly good trip and stay when in Xi'an |

| GUESTSTAN | I want to visit Xian from Shanghai and see the Terricotta Soldiers. Wold it be feasible to fly from Shanghai early, tour the soldier musuem, and fly back to Shanghai the the same day. Also, how do I find discount airline flights? |

You can take airport shuttle bus from Xi'an airport to Xi'an Railway Station. It costs CNY25 and takes around 1 hour. Bus schedule: It leaves every 1 hour from 10:15 to 19:15. Then you can go to the east railway station squre to take tourism bus no.5 (306), bus no.914, 915 and get off at the final station. The whole journey takes about one hour. Here is the other way: take taxi from the airport to the museum. Remember to take the legitimate green colored taxies and the fee is about CNY 200. Please make it clear to the taxi driver that you only go to the Museum of Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses and refuse to go to other scenic sites including souvenir shops. PS: if you take no.5 (306), please check if it is legitimate. Here is the real No.5 bus.The ticket is about CNY 7.  |

So if they are any of them, they will be there. When will you travel? If it is a peak time, there is a great possibility of standing passengers in the hard seat carriage. |
