From July 26th, main instant noodle makers including Hualong, Jinmailang, Ting Hsin, White Elephant and Uni-President will raise the prices of low-end products. The jump varies from 20% to 40%. What makes the price rises? According to the report, the cost of instant noodles becomes unbearable. The price of palm oil has increased from 4200 Yuan to 8000 Yuan per ton. Meanwhile, the price of the flour and meat also rises. It has somthing to do with the price of instant noodles. On the other hand, those giant instant noodle makers might be accused of monopolising the market because they raise the price at the same. Some people doubt that they have colluded with each other. What do you think of it? Is it rational or not? The price should be raised?
