| Obesity, contagious? Never heard of it. Just as Evening said, it may have something to do with genes. |

| No Yvonne, it's not bad news for you, it's NOT socially contagious, eat healthy and exercise and you will be fine. |

| It can be socially contagious. Parents who habitually eat unhealthily force their children to do the same at mealtimes. Their kids can't go shopping for different foods. I find it hard to eat healthy these days. I live with two guys who are both thin. They buy cartons of ice creams and bags of potato chips, French fries, and I slide into eating the same things with them. It's very hard to say no when everyone around you is having ice cream. Those are items that I very rarely buy if I am living on my own. oh well! At least i can unbutton my waistband. |

| CHYNAGYRL, I agree. "It's very hard to say no when everyone around you is having ice cream." I have ever met a similar problem. Almost all of my friends like alcohol very much. Everytime when there is a party, it's no way for me to be away form alcohol although I don't like it. |
