The school is settled in the east bank of the river while many of the students are living in the west. Due to the lack of bridge, those little kids has to learn the skill of glide very young. About 40 meters lower, the rapid river is roaring.

The journalists visited one of the school. According to the teacher's words, there are 46 students in this school are living in the opposite bank. Why not lodging in the school? Because there are no enough room for so many students. Plus, if they lodging in school, the poor families also has to pay the board wages.

All the kids and families want are a bridge.

Mr Lion Power, i think i undestood your question, however, i don't know if you notice that the pictures from BBQQ shows that this is a
WHITE WATER RIVER.

if not a bridge around, the cable is the next safer way to go across.

See picture # 3.

Picture # 2 i like best, that is a brave little one and so the rest, God angel be with them.

Is it so difficult for the goverment to buide a bridge across the river? Incredible. China has constructed many worldly amazing engineering projects. Solution could be easily found.

That's really terrible! Yes, I think a cable still works if there is not a bridge.
