| Buy Apartment or Not, Ladies? | |

 | In China, tradition tells that buying an apartment should be men's responsibility, so most of ladies don't buy apartment before marriage. If the husband living in the house which is bought by the wife, the husband may feel no-face. So what's your opinion? Buy a house by yourself or waiting for your Mr. Right? Or buy the house together? |

| Well, it is good to buy the house together. The husband does not need to burden the payment alone. Meanwhile, they will not lose face. A couple should 'build' their nest together. That is happiness. |

| A very good answer Frankenstein, although I wouldn't lose face if my lady had her own house and I moved in with her, times are changing. A woman would always want to put her " stamp " on her home as to how it was decorated anyway. |

| You won't lose face? O, is it just the traitional idea of China and some Asian countries that man should buy the house for woman before marriage?? |

| The marital home would generally be bought together, although couples would live together in existing accommadation until they could afford to buy. Maybe it is the tradition in China or other countries in Asia, but speaking for myself I wouldn't lose face. When I was married to my ex-wife our mortgage was in my name because I was the main income earner, my ex was from the Philippines and was only working part time until our bundle of joy my daughter came along. |
