 | "Blood shed in a righteous cause sword" is the Babelfish translation for 碧血剑, not Sword Stained with Royal Blood. Maybe you meant "Sword Stained By Righteous Blood"? I'm going to have to find an English version of these novels. How many are there? Anybody been able to find any English versions of these novels? __WINDENERGY__ |

| EVENING, Because I am teaching at a Chinese College and all of the books in the library are printed in Chinese characters. Although I am learning how to read Chinese characters, I am sure that Jin Yong's Kung Fu novels are way too complex for me to understand. I am having trouble understanding kindergarten novels! (The fox and crow) and (Little monkey and Little squirrel are good friends) are right at my reading level currently. Do you know wether Jin Tong's novels are printed in English and where I might find them? You help would be most beneficial. __WINDENERGY__ |

| I just heard that two of his Kung Fu novels have been published in English. They are Yue Nv Jian and Shu Jian En Chou Lu. But there are many Japanese versions of his novels. |

| Sorry, Windenery. I do not know where you can purchase these two English versions of Shu Jian En Chou Lu (The Book and the Sword) and Yue Nv Jian (Sword of the Yue Maiden). Maybe you can go to the Foreign Languages Bookstore. Shu Jian En Chou Lu (The Book and the Sword) was translated by Graham Earnshaw and published by Oxford University Press. | Good question, Windenergy. Personally I think that the translator needn't translate the title, just keep it in Pinyin. For the English version of the title of Tian Long Ba Bu, maybe it was free translation. In this novel, there is a Tianlong temple. Thus, I think that it must have somehing to do with Buddhism. |

| Originally, he was called Zha Liangyong (查良镛). Jin Yong is his pseudonym. 查 should be pronounced Zha, not Cha. |
