Marilyn Monroe VS Audrey Hepburn

GUEST23203 Of course it's Audrey Hepburn. She was the fairest lady. Not just an outer beauty like Monroe (who although was pretty she wasn't stunning like Audrey who had doe eyes and an ear-to-ear childish grin which captured every man and woman alive) but Audrey had an inner beauty that shone through those hauntingly beautiful eyes.

GUEST55157 Um...You're thinking of Katharine Hepburn. Audrey never played in a movie with Tracy.

GUEST55157 Um...no lol. Monroe gets plain annoying. Granted I've only seen 4 of her movies.

GUESTMATT Grace Kelly doesn't bare the slightest resemblance to Audrey...she looks much more like Monroe. Jayne Mansfield also looks similar to Monroe. And you're wrong if you think people don't try to imitate Audrey...very wrong. Not that that is even relevant to this topic anyways.

GUEST55157 Sorry...but what a dumb thing to say. So you're saying Audrey Hepburn only became a star because Roman Holiday was successful? It had nothing to do with her charm and talent? Any other actress would've became a star had they played in that movie? Please. Audrey earned her stardom just like Marilyn.

And the other dumb thing you said was that Marilyn Monroe was more "professional." You obviously know nothing about Marilyn Monroe, she is know for being a NIGHTMARE to work with. Where did you dig up this crap?

Erm, no, women ADORE Marilyn. I definitely hear more jealousy about Audrey than I ever once have about Marilyn. It's only overweight and/or insecure females and gay guys who ever like Marilyn, and often now promiscious 14-year-old girls who admire how promiscuous Monroe herself was. Audrey has a LOT to envy- the beauty, the body, the charm, the talent. Marilyn put out and got rich from it, that's about it. And no crap it's a chick flick, Sherlock; almost all her movies were! guess what, ALL OF MONROE'S WERE TOO! She never did anything but easy romantic comedies because she had no talent. So guess by your terrible logic she is a girls's thing too (which of course, she is). Men prefer Audrey; lonely, desperate overweight nerdy guys sometimes like Marilyn for her size but that's it.

I think it's unfair for Monroe to be marked by just sexy throughout the time!
She is so pretty and in some way innocent, lovely.
she has showed a real self in front of the world.

are you JOKING?? You clearly have never done a smidgeon of research or even asked about monroe... she was FAMOUS for being fake. She was "secretly" intelligent even though all she was were dumb blondes and that is how she always acted in real life; she was gallons and gallons of makeup and hair dye and looked different without it all; she was a cheater and lied about her childhood.. huh, sounds fake to me.

and it's unfair? tell your sex goddess that- she's the one who demanded to be seen as sexy; SHE'S the one who encouraged people to see her as sexy; SHE'S the oen who played nothing but sexy roles; etc etc. and also, saying someone is "pretty" is a horrible reason to prefer them to such a wonderful, actually attractive person as Audrey.

that's an awesome idea!! I would love to do it myself... pick colors like white, black, pink or red; take on a 'sophisticated' theme; maybe get some of her movie posters or a clock that has her pic on it (I saw it once in Seventeen magazine and it was cute); add some playfulness to it by setting out your stuffed animals (she was childlike and also loved animals); have lots of books and movies because she loved both; make it a bit princessy, because she not only played a princess but was a very regal person herself.
