Most disappointing tourist spots in the world!

BBQQ Points: Join Date: Feb 7, 2007 Status: offline	Britain has a survey on the most disappointing tourist spots in the world. The result is out of my surprise. No.1 is The Eiffel Tower of Paris, No.2 is Louvre Museum of Paris, No.3 is Time Square of New York. Others include Egypt Pyramid, Big Ben of Britain, White Palace...... Tourists complains some spots are too crowded or the souvenirs are too expensive...... Have you been to any of these places? Do you feel disappointed?

Others include Egypt Pyramid, Big Ben of Britain, White Palace......

Tourists complains some spots are too crowded or the souvenirs are too expensive......

Have you been to any of these places? Do you feel disappointed?

I have never been to Times Square as a tourist, but I think I would be disappointed if I traveled halfway around the world to see it. ...the exception might be seeing it on New Year's Eve night.

WINDENERGY Points: Join Date: Jan 24, 2006 Status: Offline	I was not disappointed at the Eiffel Tower in Paris....the French can put on a dazzling fireworks show. I was most disappointed by touring Bangkok, as I mainly ran into European tourists and the locals that knew too little english to have any fun with. Plus, it's hard to tell the girls from the boys down there : ). __WINDENERGY__

Is that so crowdy up on the Tour Eiffel? I once went up just before midnight…, in spring on a windy night, to chat over Paris by night, it is itself a good souvenir. I have nothing to say about the fares but the view of Tour Eiffel is free in a lot of scenic locations in the city, against assymmetrical gardens or cityscape.

Nothing more to say for the Louvre, it’s not only for tourists, its for arts lovers, I also adore Mr. Pei’s pyramid too! Souvenirs you buy there are arts books and replica prints and posters.
