Beijing Tianjin Hangzhou Shanghai Itinerary

My friend is arriving in Beijing 9/21. She will be in Hangzhou 9/26 and Shanghai on the 9/30. I would appreciate any suggestions on how much time you recommend in each place and any side trips you think would be great. Thanks so much in advance.

Beijing: 2~3 days
Hangzhou: 2 days and you can take a side trip to Qiandaohu Lake
Shanghai 2~3 days and take a side trip to Wuzhen or Zhouzhuang or Tongli, etc.

Beijing: 4~5 days
Hangzhou: 2~3 days
Shanghai 2~3 days

Attention: 2 or 3 days for Beijing is not enough, pls don't waste your airticket since you visit here already.
