way to travel since Guangzhou to Shenzhen

I will be travelling from Guangzhou to Shenzhen on 4 Dec to take a flight,

1) Is it convienent and safe to travel on train with huge luggage (golf bag)?

2) How to travel from Shenzhen train station to the airport? By coach? Where is the coach station? What's the cost like?
