FAERIEQUEENE, you have an amazing insight or intuition. Zhang Ziyi is a superstar. Have you ever watched the movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon? She played the leading actress in that movie.

Of course I know she is Zhang ZIyi, haha...but she did look distinctive on the chart

I cannot speak for other western men and am not available any more.. but these girls do IMO have real beauty.

Dodger, can you tell us why you think they are beautiful, appearance or coquettish cosmetics? For me, I do not like those who wear heavy cosmetics. They look too coquettish.

I agree with Katrina. I once visit a Chinese website and it ranks top ten Chinese celebrity beauties, it also includes some old actresses. Some movie stars such as Zhang Ziyi colud never been compared with those women, in my opinion.

An artist once demonstrated how to determine if a person was photogenic - beautiful to the camera. He took my picture, covered the right half of my face and then flipped the covering to the left side...each side looked like a different person. Then he took a picture of a local model and did the same thing - the two sides of the model's face were perfectly symetrical. ...so that's at least a little part of outward beauty.

Any of the women pictured in this thread are lovely...but take a look at my gal's smile and you'll know what I think.
