The death toll has mounted to 88 by now, and 42 were injured. A Thai airliner " One-Two-Go", slipped off the runway in attempting to land, bursting into flame and explosion. There are altogether 130 aboard, including 123 passengers and 7 crew. Among the passengers, 79 are foreigners. So far, the rescue is still underway. The causes of the accident are under investigation. The Phuket province, an island located on the eastern coast of Indian Ocean in southern Thailand, is one of Southeast Asia's most popular tourist destinations. Hopefully, this accident won't affect Thai tourism.
