The FT reported that Buffett has made 800 billion dollars' offer to take over $800 billion in municipal bond liabilities from Ambac (ABK), MBIA (MBI) and FGIC. However, one of the three insurers had refused his offer. At present, US economy is sliding. Why did Buffett do this? For Roger, I think he is more an entertainment star than an top investor. He appears in the media frequently. Buffett is different from him. He just focuses on his investment.
