Yesterday, he turned up in the provincial lottery center and retrieved his prize money. The source said that the winner was a boss of private company and he entrusted his employee to buy lottery for him. He told the media that he was an old lottery fan. Each month he spent about 2000 yuan to buy lottery. This time, he realized his dream and won 65 million yuan. He is really a lucky guy. |

![]() | I buy and compare the numbers for the California supper lotto for my dad. One day last August I had a ticket that matched all the winning numbers. The jackpot was 93 million USD. I ran my ass off to my car and drove down to the store I bought it from and scanned the ticket. It didn't come up with anything and kept scanning. THEN . . . . the shopkeep took a look, and it turns out they the numbers have to be in consecutive numbers... I even got the magic number in there. LOL, its still a story that makes me laugh. . . . In these last three years there have been some really smart people out there. For example there was a man who won a 166 million USD jackpot. He was dubbed "the most patient man in the world" for waiting 363 days to claim his money. He waited that long so that he could sort out his legal troubles such as divorce and then claimed his money after all of it was finalized. Winning the lottery doesn't mean a happily ever after story for some. Anybody heard of Jack Whittaker?, that guy won 314.9 Million dollar jackpot. The guy claims that the money was bad luck because he has been robbed, assaulted, sued, kids dying in his house. He claims that he is totally broke because of all his legal troubles. Pretty rough eh? ![]() | Your story made me laugh though Danny, I had something simular, I was on nights when I heard the Lottery draw and I had all the numbers even the bonus ball, I ran round the reception like a man possessed, It was only later I realised the winning no's were on two lines meaning I had 4 on one line and 3 on another which meant I didn't have the Jackpot after all, I actually won £80 instead of £4 million, oh well one day. ![]() | I have a lottery story from when I rode my motorcycle across the USA. I was somewhere in hot and dusty west Texas when stopped for a beer about 20:00. There was a man sobbing uncontrollably at the end of the bar. After listening to the man's continuous sobbing long enough, I finally asked the bartender what was wrong with the man. He told me that the man had played the same lottery number for 3 years and that his wife forbade him ever to play the lottery again because it was a waste of money. He obeyed her. The lottery was drawn an hour before I walked into the bar. The man was having a beer and heard his winning numbers drawn with a very large jackpot and that was why he was crying. |

![]() | A guy in Canada a few years ago won a big prize ( over 5 million CDN ) and he waited over 6 months to settle his divorce etc before claiming the money. His ex claimed that since the ticket was purchased during the time they were married, she was entitled to half. The judge agreed. |

![]() | WESTNORWOODGAS, 80 Quid is something to be happy about, at least you can say you won something even though it was not the 4 Million. I however came home 20 US poorer because of the round of drinks I promised my neighbors HEH. . . . . . . |

![]() | Well, I do not think that he won 65 million yuan because of his luck. As Dreamlife said, he spent about 2000 yuan per month to buy lottery. How much has he spent till now? He is really persistent. |

![]() | Congratulations to him! But I wonder whether the media should report this guy too much. The report once said that those lottery winners disguised themselves very well to get their award because they did not want to be in trouble in the future. Why? They are worried about their safety. |

![]() | I always say if you don't do it you cant win it, so I'm happy with any sort of win, we also do something in my local pub where we all select our 7 No's and keep them every week paying £1 and each matched No drawn from the national lottery is marked off, the first to get all 7 wins the pot, this rolls over until it's won, I shared £800 with another man one week, this was about 4 years ago, I haven't come close since but I still live and hope. BBQQ the reason they disguise themselves is to aviod beggers, here you get the option of no publicity if you win. |
