 | Maybe we need to consider harsher punishments for offenders, hanging? shoot them? over the top you might feel but we would have cleaner streets. Dave, I agree with you on this point. Severe punishements is the most effective way. Being punished harshly, they will remember not to commit the same mistake again. |

| I'm not trying to ge gross here or to excuse in any way the spitting thing, but did you know that the flem is in fact not mainly composed of bad germs or part of you flu virus and/or other bad things? In fact it is made of white blood cells and anti-body that we produce to combat the flu and other infections. Spitting it is in fact a bad thing to do; doing so, you're spitting away part of your body's self defense system. Although I admit it would take some getting used to and a part of mind control, but when we cough, the best thing to do would be to swallow the piece - lol. You still don't believe me?! My friend smokes and his doctor told him not to spit and do just that: swallow it boy! I even heard it myself from my doctor when I was sick one day...so what do you think of that for a news!!? At least it comes from your own body...and between this and oysters, I leave the seafoods for others...lol |

| What western people do Spits, yes Litter, yes Do not wash hands often, yes Do not wash hands after using the toilet, yes Picks the nose, yes Smokes, yes Use drugs, yes Are fat, yes Some do not shave armpits, yes Some do not shower, yes Drive with out seat belt, yes Speed on the road, yes Blow the horn, yes Drive an SUV and use more fuel than any other group combine, yes If you cross, a street will run you over, yes Drink and drive, yes Use drugs and drive, yes Practice prostitution, yes Abuse the spouse, yes Practice child abuse, yes Have the larger homosexual population, yes Have the larger population of single mothers, yes Have the larger only mother household, yes Have the larger population of parents that forgot to support the children, yes Have one of the larger populations of HIV carriers, yes As you see, we are not that good, as we want others to think, So, what is the big deal about people spitting? It is their culture, adjust or leave if you do not like it. I know, I know, none of you guy from the west there in China ever do that, I know it, it is not about you, it is about the other guy, the one next to you. |

| JCNILE123, can I assume you hate us westerners? some of the items on your list are funny, as we have sense of humour we dont get offended. Dont shave armpits? are fat? do not shower ? What on earth have they got to do with spitting? I am a little plump, dont shave my armpits (men dont usually) and I dont shower, I bath instead. How low does that rate me on your scale? |

| Why such a heinous word, “hate”, Do not take it personal; just take what is relevant. I am from the west my self. Nothing personal against any one, but if you look around you can see that we are so critical of almost everything eastern people do. My point is that we are just not much better, However, we are so critical. Like we are so well mannered people as a group. |
