| Have you ever seen a fashion in the vast desert? Probably not. Usually, we appreciate the beauty models walking gracefully on the catwalk. What will be like when they walked in the desert. On Oct. 20th, Pierre Cardin's 2008 Spring/Summer series release was held in the vast desert of Mingsha Mountain, or whistling Sand Mountain, near Dunhuang, along the well-known Silk Road in north-west China's Gansu Province. A collection of 200 fashion dresses was shown. Pierre Cardin and his chief designer Sergio Altieri, who has worked with Cardin for many years, also attended the press conference about the collection. |
