![]() | Have you ever heard of a Chinese saying--- 富不过三代? In English, it means: the first generation makes money, the second spends it and the third loses it. How to sustain their wealth has become a big issue for those millionaires and billionaires. But sadly, there is no exception that can break this rule. In the third generation, the wealth made by their ancestors has been wasted out. At least, it works well in China. What is your understanding of this saying? If you were the millionaire or billionaire, what will you do to sustain your wealth? |

![]() | yes I have heard a similar saying in English. Unfortunately it is not quite true and we get family dynasties and a self perpetuating class society. |

![]() | If I were a millionaire, I would choose to donate most parts of my property. If my children wants to start his or her business, I will leave some for them. But the amount is not much. I want them to know that wealth can not be gained easily. They should accumulate their wealth step by step, not just spend their parents' money. |
