Canadaguy,
Absolutely no splitting of hairs here.
The Scotts are completely mad and you would not understand a word that they said. Even if you found a sober one.
The Welsh don’t like speaking English and think that they can sing.
The Irish…. Sorry Ireland cannot be towed a bit closer to you.
As I don’t Ride to Hounds on the week end I am not a Chap. Alan would be too sizzled with scrumpy to ride anyway.
Wellington, Drake, Wolff, Churchill, Scott, Nelson, Howe, Cook, Dodger, Alan, are English. Probably left a couple out?
This is all Alan’s fault as he keeps winding me up…again!?
He is only half English so shouldn’t really have the vote.
Dodger.

Ah Dodger, but I was born in England and I cant speak Welsh, so I think I get the vote.
As for the winding up, I'm known for it, he he

Well, I'm English as I was born in England. I dont see myself as British because after that where do you stop?? Call ourselves European?
But at least I cant claim to be a carrot muncher.

As for joining this site, I found it searching for information prior to my travelling around China. In the last year I have found tons of helpful info, made lots of new friends and found a girlfriend. Oh, plus I had 2 trips to China where I managed around 6000 photos, exactly what I wanted.

I find this quite interesting, because to the rest of the world anyone from your neck of the woods is referred to as British.

Let's see, we've got the French here, the Spanish there, the Portuguese there,
the Germans there, the Italians there, the British there, the Swedes there...and so it goes.

It's also interesting because everywhere else in the world English is usually used to refer to the language and not nationality.
