I'm OK Kevin, not so sure about the manager Steve McClaren though he has just been sacked.

Glad to hear this, Alan. Steve McClaren was sacked. But who will be the next coach of England? It is reported that Fabio Capello shows his interest in the position. What do you think of him?

Capello is a good manager, I don't know if he right for England though, it's a thankless job being in football management so whoever get's the job will have my respect.

These guys are really horrible. Why do they fight with eacher? Just because they are fans of different football clubs?

Alan, you are really a reasonable and kind soccer fan. I have noticed that some extreme fans attributed England's failure to Steve McClaren. That is not fair. He commited some mistakes, but we could not treat him like this. I read a piece of news today. Steve Mcclaren said that his successor would learn some lessons from him. It seems that he was regretful.

I have managed a local pub team myself in the past, whatever the team you select is wrong and the players are upset, I even had players even wanting to fight me because I dropped them, at the end of that season I quit and had nothing further to do with them even though I was a founder member of the team.
Managers like Steve McClaren have to deal with big name players who think they know everything about the game, he also has had the media writing stories about him and his private life and also calling for him to be sacked, he took it all with great dignity.

Alan, never heard you managed a football club before. Since you were a manager before, you could understand Steve McClaren better. As a coach, you surely meet many difficulties, for example, how to deal with those big shot players in the team. It is not an easy task to be a coach.

Well it was at a low standard of football, I was a player manager, I didn't really do the coaching, we had another guy who took care of that side, I just picked the team and signed any new players, we had one that went on to play for Yeovil Town and played for the England non-league team, he could have gone even higher but liked his drink too much, a bit like me really, he he

Have You heard, Danish football fans are called roligans. The word comes from Danish word "rolig", means fun. And they really are rolig people who enjoy football and Carlsberg beer, heh.
