My name is Jim and my wife works outside,and in the city of Guangzhou sometimes for days at a time.I am usually alone,and there are no people whom to pal around with,whom speak English.My wife live here in this city,and we love Bowling,Dancing,watching DVDs and Movies,well as we are visiting parks,and we travel to near-by cities for site-seeing when we have time. My wife would love meeting new people and having new friends,whom spea k English,well as Chinese.We are usually free on week-ends,and some times week nights.The weather is changing,and so we stay home more often. We would love meeting other English speaking people of any Nationality as it would be our pleasure to visit and become friends with them.We are just people whom enjoy meeting people and enjoy sharing our interest with them and sharing theirs. Guangzhou,is a very friendly city,and there are many things to see and do together.Traveling to other cities,is always a adventure,to change the routine,of city life

GUESTGUEST R...	Hi there, I am an australian and I have just been offered a job teaching in Guangzhou. Package includes furnished apartment and 8400RMB a month. Can anyone tell me if this sufficient? I will be arriving with my 10 year old. I have been doing research on net, but figure it is best to hear from other ex-pats what it is like living and working in Guangzhou. Thanks Rachel

My wife and I are planning to visit Guangzhou ( her birthplace, mine was in US ) from Los Angeles, CA area in October 2009.
I don't speak much Cantonese ( but want to learn ) and possibly consider retiring in China.
I would like to meet other Americans in town who can share experiences and adjustments.
I do like playing BasketBall, Tennis ( maybe some Table Tennis ) and talk Computer Stuff and the Internet.
Appreciate some "pen pals" living in Guangzhou, China.
