Ferry from Guangzhou to Sanya

"Best" is relative. I would probably do Guangzhou -- overnight train -- Sanya -- flight -- Hong Kong, if your budget permits.

intend to visit Macau/Zhuhai and Hainan in one trip.
1. Fly into Haikou/Sanya to stay.
2. Sanya to Guangzhou by train
3. Gzh to Zhuhai by bus

Is train the best budget for Sanya/Haikou to Gzh/Zhuhai/Macau
How long is train betw Sanya and Gzh ? 15 hrs
We have a family travelling with kids travelling together. Can we rotate to sleep in the different sleeper class?
is there long dist bus from Hainan to Gzh/Zhuhai or Macau?

Sanya/Haikou -- Guangzhou by train will be fine. Guangzhou -- Zhuhai by bus since there's no train station at Zhuhai nor Macau.
Depending on which departure you take, Sanya -- Guangzhou train ranges from 14 to almost 16 hours.
Different sleeper class? Do you mean hard and soft sleeper, or what?
Bus for Hainan -- Guangzhou/Zhuhai/Macau might be available, but it would not be a better option than train.

Not sure if there's a ferry for this route, just take the overnight train instead.
If you're already studying here you don't need an extra visa for Hainan.

I don't think there're ferries for Hong Kong -- Sanya.

You can take bus from Haikou to Zhuhai which will take 12 hours at West station,or take flight which takes 50miniutes.Then you can take bus from Zhuhai airport or Gongbei to Maccau which only takes one hour.Don't forget to take your visa.
In Haikou you can walk around on West beach or Haikou Bay,have a cup of wine at outside bar to enjoy music and wind from the sea.I don't know specifically in Zhuhai,so no more advices.
