![]() | I have some photos I would like to upload here. Now there is a problem, because photos are about 1,5 - 2 Mb. How to shrink them to 150 k? I can limit them some, but don´t want to limit them too much only to make the data less. Do I have to buy some photoshop program, or can I manage with some other? There are some other places I would like to put my photos too, but they are always too big. Anyone can help? I would appreciate any advice, thanks. Carlos |

![]() | Hi Carlos, I am so glad to be the first to post since you helped me with the windows regional languages. If you just want something cheap that is already on your computer (if its a windows pc). I usually use Windows Paint to resize pictures down to the required size for this website. If you do, this is usually the way I go about it: Open windows paint in "accessories" > File > Open > Select Picture > Image > Stretch/Skew and then depending on the size of your photo you can reduce it to the percentage you feel gives enough detail such as 10 percent or 40. If you have some high quality pictures that come from a DSLR, it will not come out that well, at least in my experience. Hope that helps, Carlos. Happy Holidays, Danny |

![]() | And of course, save them as a second copy, so u don't lose the original. |

![]() | There is an option on photoshop (most versions) where you can select ' save for web' and select roughly what size you want the finished photo to be. |
