 | This whole concept , is amazing to me... please forgive me if any of the following may seem disrespectful. for I do not intend it to be... I can only say how amazing it is, that there are cultures so diffrent from one another... just as one person is to another.... however as human beings we like to think our instincts have evolved from other mammals when our ways are quite simular... just as the female mind naturaly wants the stronger male... the hunter... the provider... where as the male wants the most attractive woman.. capable of baring numnerious of children... right? and a sweet heart to raise them... just as an eagle chooses his mate for her ability to make a study nest... what im trying to say is its beautiful... to see these diffrent thougts... and traditions... infact... back in the cave man days... the man with the most meat got the woman... the strongest bull got to reproduce... heh.. a General once told me... Its hard to lead an army, without understanding the soldiers stupidity... "ment to be non offensive..." meaning you can judge one culture by your own.. we like to assume. that love is enough to have a relationship... unfourtinatly its not.. .and alot of chinese parents understand his.... infact this is one of the reasons marriages fail here in AMerica.... and why divorce rate is so high...Because fools rush in.... so to have a house is to be wise...like a lion with a beautiful mane... and I agree... I love the idea of a couple working with each other... for a common goal..... If a woman seeks a house... give her your arms... if she seeks a plane... catch her when she falls its not much to ask for a house.. in my opinion... just like a man asking his wife to carry children... man ive been in many delivery rooms thats scary... so why not give her a house? a ring? and your heart? in exchange for her love... a womans love has to be the greatest treasure I have found in my days at war in Iraq.... The sound of a sweet voice... besides... to know a beautiful woman awaits you at the house you bought.... everything else... is ignorance... besides i hate shopping for jewelry... but im good at finding houses... lol =P im sorry if this post sounds like crazy stuff but its the short story of what I believe... bottom line dont compare a lion to a tiger...or a black bear to a polar bear.. two compleltly diffrent cultures.. but they are both cats and both black and polar are still bears... |

| Direwolf, today's families strutures and its members duties remain the same as the old days in rich families and poor families as in the rich families, the male is able to earn enough and in poor areas, no jobs available for women. Women from working families take the same burden as men do in supporting familites... In New China after 1949, we call it women's liberalization, i.e.,women are able to stand on their ownfeet and have the same intelligence as men if women are not distracted by extra detailed housework-i mean cleaning ,cooking...However, I cannot disagree your views on this topic as its matured and expenrienced MAN's digesting the meaning of life...if i had not read your profile, i would believed you were middle aged... |

| You are very inciteful MARRIE, I have given your words thought.. I must apologize I didnt want to sound like I was making women sound inferior in anyway... I honestly did not mean my post to be that way. Only a matter of what I think of the topic... and thank you for your last comment on believing I am middle aged... Please allow me to share a thought I had after, I made my reply to the subject. love the fact that women are as free as men... There is something about, a woman with a high spirit... and a free heart... its beautiful.and a sharp mind... there is nothing to me more attractive to me... | Direwolf, Chinese saying: Men carry doubtness until they approach 40 year old when they are able to explain the world from the nature perspective or the animal instintct perspective. 'incitefulness' that i have means I stay well below 'free and ease' quality and need to learn and experience further to aquire. | You say that as a statement... of fact.. .and its true.. alot of men do hide behind social masks, this is true... but women have a change of clothes for every event.... in a way it is comfy to the ears... |
