BTW.the bus to longmen is NO81 and NO55. It will take you near an hour to get there.
If you take the taxi, it will be much faster,remember---the taxi costs no more than 25 yuan

I shall visit Longmen caves in May.
Recommended time for visit without hurry? What is the most important part of caves?
My hotel is in Luolong, Luoyang Ease House, how to transfer to caves?

GUEST40882 Well, generally speaking, four or five hours are enough. The most important part of the caves are on the West Hill.

From your hotel, you can take bus 94 at Guanlin Road Yongtai Street West Exit Station (关林路永泰街口西站) and get off at Longmen North Bridge West Station (龙门北桥西站). Then walk for about half a mile.

GUESTDAVE The hotel is 5.3 miles (8.5 km) far from Longmen Caves. If you take a cab to there, it costs about CNY 20.
