I can confirm it was bad in Hunan, it snowed when I got married ( 17th Jan ) so I didn't get to wear my suit and sorry, no pics of the day.
I'm back in London thawing out!!
My poor wife is still in China in Henan province working, god miss her.

Welcome back, Alan. When did you come back to London? The newpaper said that Binzhou city in Hunan Province was dark for a long time. How about Yueyang and other places? I am still looking forward to seeing your photos. You will make it up, right?

Hi Jimmy & Dodger.
Yes Yueyang lost it's power too and we didn't have water either where we stayed.
We booked into a hotel just to have a hot shower!.
By now you will be in Beijing Dodger, I hope everything goes well with you and your wife.

Sorry, it should be Chenzhou, not Binzhou. Chenzhou has lost power and water for a while. It is said that power supply will be repaired before Feb.7, the first day of 2008 on lunar calendar. I can't imagine how people there live.
