Hey,

Valentine's Day is coming tommorrow! It is time for you to show your affection for your beloved ones. Are you sure your man love you? It is easy to find out. I browsed some tips written by someone else. If he loves you, he should do the following 13 things for you? Fellas, do you love your gals? Have you done these 13 things for your gals?

1. Log your size into his memory, because what’s more depressing than trying on a wrong-size gift?
2. Before he leaves on a trip, give you a sappy card that says how much he’ll miss you. (Extra credit: makes it himself.)
3. Send you a massive bouquet of flowers at work (ideally on a Monday, so you can flaunt it all week).
4. Cook you a meal that involves more ingredients than pasta and pasta sauce.
5. Afterward, clean up the dishes.
6. Memorize this mantra: If I’m going to be late, call. If I’m going to be late, call….
7. Ask you as many questions as he answers.
8. Look you directly in the eye during all greetings, requests, declarations of love and sex.
9. Toss out the blue-and-red tartan flannel bedding he got in college and replace it with something else (i.e., thread count over 200, no poly blends).
10. Stand outside in the rain with a radio or do whatever it takes to make up after he’s been a jerk.
11. Slow down in bed.
12. Speed up on the toilet.
13. Buy you tampons without feeling emasculated.

I thank, well, someone or something we don´t celebrate Valentine´s day here, heh.

Or maybe there is some mistake between Mother´s day and Valentine´s day, BBQQ?

Just kidding

4, 5, 6 and 8 are ok for me.

How about singing to her a really sappy love song this Valentine? ^_^

~

Flowers for you, on this lovely evening
Though they have no words
They share my feelings
As we walk along the avenue
Pardon me I just can't help staring at you

When I look into those sparkling eyes
I float in the air and wander in paradise
You give my heart a source of inspiration
Your beauty is beyond imagination

You are the one
The only one that I desire
When we touch
When we're one you light the fire
The seasons we share
Hand in hand, there seems to be no time
Each day with you becomes a Valentine

~

Carlos, what do you mean?

Does anyone know the origin of Valentine's Day? Is it a religious holiday? Is it related to Cupid? What is the relationship between Cupid and Valentine? Valentine is a Christian priest?

I have just 1 question.

Why would you have some many demands of your man?

Whilst I appreciate this thread is not designed to be serious ( at least I hope not) why is it that women have so many things they want from a man.
Is it not possible to just accept us for what we are in womens eyes....'useless'

LOL... Dave, that made me laugh, but I agree with about the demands, in my book as long as we remember and treat our wives/gf with love and respect, they will be happy.

DAVEC &Alan, men also have so many demands of their gals as the thread "A good wife never grumbles". I think men also expect much from the women they love. Demand is normal in a sound relation. Just don't be demanding.

Totally agree with Iceblue. Both men and women make demands from each other. It is just one aspect in a relationship. The key is to be reasonable.

Isn’t this thread just a counterpart of these threads?

I remember one poster said that men require a lot from women. One of my girl friends once said, “If my man wants to play the hero, be the provider and the protector, then I expect him to do a good job and not complain about it!”

Wow, Shesgottobe, you are studious.LOL! You are doing a research, good job!

I agree with you and Iceblue. Both men and women are somewhat " Demanding Animals". (LOL).

>>One of my girl friends once said, “If my man wants to play the hero, be the provider and the protector, then I expect him to do a good job and not complain about it!” <<

Your friend is quite smart. Man wants to play the hero in the front of woman. That's man's frailty.

LOL! Thanks, Leonardo.

I think every girl loves a hero. In fairy tales, there is nothing more romantic than a knight in shining armor rescuing a damsel in distress. However, in real life, to the damsel in distress’ disappointment, her knight in shining armor is rarely around to rescue her. So she learned to strengthen her resolve so that she can fend off for herself. ^_^

So many demands Dave? I'd settle for 13 any day!
