'Pick your nose and your brain will fall out". Did you hear this lie? When I was a kid, I heard this lie for several times. It is a humiliating thing to reveal this secret. At the age of 4-5, I used to have the bad habit of picking my nose. My parents repeated the lie to me, but it did help me get rid of the bad habit. Did your parents tell any lies in order to help you get rid of some bad habits? Did the lies work? " Pick your nose and your brain will fall out"

My Chinese parents used to tell me that if I whistled at night that the wolves would come after me. That never worked on me because I loved dogs as a kid, and my current dog looks kind of like a wolf.

As a kid, my hair was almost white. My mother refused to give me coffee, she said it would make my hair dark. I did not believe it, but did not have coffee anyway. Carlos

Very cute! I have a story similar to DESTRUCKDOZ. When I didn't sleep at early night, my parents used to say that if I didn't sleep, wolves would come to eat me. I was frightened to fall asleep.

I tried very hard to think of lies my parents told us just to scare us when we were kids. I couldn’t think of any. My parents are brutally frank. They knew the truth would scare us more. LOL!
