England was beaten by France 0 to 1. On other hand, David got a yellow card in that game. At the moment, he has become the fifth player who has played for England at least 100 games. No.11 During 2006 Germany World Cup, David earned one point for England by his freekick during the game against Ecuador. He became the first person who has scored goals in three consecutive World Cup. No.12 Since McClaren took charge of England, David Beckham was abandoned. On June 1st of 2007, he appeared in the game against Brazil. It is his 95 game for England. |

I didn't get to see the game on TV, I was too tired to wait until the highlight were shown but reading the report England didn't play very well. Beckham has said he wants to continue playing for England for a few more years at least until after the next world cup, I don't think he will overtake Peter Shilton's 125 caps though. Alan |

![]() | Agree! I don't know if the new coach will trust and rely on him as Eriksson. On the other hand, it is a fact that he is growing older and older. The possibility for him to join next World Cup is very little. Look at the first picture carefully. The coach wasn't very happy. Was he dissatisfied with Beckham or the entire team? |
