In conjunction with Canton Fair, most hotels will hike up their room rates between 2 - 3 times. If you are looking for a simple but comfortable place to stay during this time, feel free to contact me. My small but clean and tidy apartment is located in Tianhe district, a few minutes' walk to the main road where there are lots of taxis and public buses to take you downtown. The public buses, only RMB2 flat rate per trip, will take you to the nearest train station at Gangding or to downtown Tiyu Xilu etc. I can also offer you tips on how to get around GZ, find the best places to shop, best local restaurants etc. Rate is RMB150 nett per night.
