| Quote: "There are lies, damned lies, and statistics". A well known quote attributed to many different people. Leonardo, that graph is such an example statistics. Yea, Apault, the graph is somewhat problematic. Well, the situation Barboza stated in his article does mirror the tangled stock market of China. China's stock market is still in its infancy. The stock market is unsound. It has numeroous dark sides. Shady "insider trading" and " playing the market" are very common in China's stock market. As Gary pointed out, the major small investors are amateur. Or to say, some of them are gamblers who have little knowledge of stock market and its "surviving secrecy/tactics." Most of them are insensitive to market change either due to the limited access to reliable information or due to the poor " gambling tactics".In consequence, when a storm hit the stock market, small investors and speculators are inevitably victimized. |
