If I hire a car and a driver for a day should I buy lunch, water etc. for driver as well, or will he cater for himself?

Maybe a silly question, but still I prefer to know what to do :]

Thanks

If you're stopping for lunch I think he usually expects to eat with you. Not a big problem as, if you're eating Chinese-style (shared dishes) then he just gets an extra bowl of rice and pair of chopsticks.

Some will eat with you, some will not. Ellyse's advice is correct. You can check this before you sign on the dotted line.

Whether the driver expects to join you or not, I think it's best to invite him to join. That way you'll get into his good side--might just make your trip a lot more enjoyable. =)
