In the report, the author said that Mahjong was more than a game in Hong Kong, it is an obsession. If on holidays, most Hong Kong people gather together to play mahjong. I am wondering whether people in other places of China play mahjong to spend their holidays. If not, what do they usually do to spend their holidays?

Perhaps, I need to learn to play it and then I won't feel bored during holiday time. Actually, I want to travel during the holiday but there are too many people during that time. So I give up this plan, just staying at home and watching TV or movies.
