![]() | I have been watching the progress of Chinese player Liang Wenbo, he is playing Ronnie O'Sullivan and it is currently 4-4 after the first session. The experts are saying Liang is one for the future, I think he might become a big name in Snooker and someone China can be proud of. Alan |

![]() | Alan, years ago I invited a Chinese friend to my house for a game of Snooker. I thought that I had at last found a mug...after I had explained the rules and with my 2 boys watching I let him start...perhaps the biggest mistake of my life. My Big Boy pushed me aside saying " come on Dad, this is embarrassing" he went down too. The next time we had a doubles game at my place I made sure that Mr Yu was on my team. Dodger. |

![]() | I'm no good either Dodger, darts is my game, although I would probably get thrashed at that these day's, but in my hay day I was playing in front of 4 thousand people so I had to keep " my bottle " in check or was that check out? he he As for the Liand Wenbo v " Rocket " Ronnie O'Sullivan it's 11-5 in O'Sullivans favour, so it looks like Ronnie is going through to the semi final. ![]() | Ronnie " The Rocket " O'Sullivan won 13-7 in the end, but gave credit to Liang Wenbo for playing his part, Liang won £22,000 for getting as far as he did, which is probably been his best pay day. I think we will hear a lot more about this young man in the not too distant future. Alan |
